Join us at the Renaissance Des Moines Savery Hotel from Friday, April 24, through Saturday, April 25, 2026, for the 2026 Upper Midwest Osteopathic Health Conference!

The theme, Cancer: From Basics to Breakthroughs, will focus on bridging the gap between foundational cancer care and emerging breakthroughs shaping the future of oncology.

CONFERENCE THEME & HIGHLIGHTS

Day One (Friday) centers on a dedicated Cancer track, reflecting the growing impact of cancer across Iowa, where incidence and mortality rates continue to exceed national averages for several cancer types. Sessions will explore prevention, screening, diagnosis, and treatment strategies relevant to both primary care providers and specialists, with an emphasis on early detection, coordinated care, and improving outcomes for Iowa patients. In addition to the Cancer track, attendees may chose from sessions in the Emergency Medicine track, offering a broad range of learning opportunities.

Day Two (Saturday) continues a focused cancer track, including a session in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM), and expands programming with our miscellaneous track. Sessions will address topics in pediatrics, public health, chronic pain, and more, providing practical insights and evidence-based updates applicable across practice settings. With a strong emphasis on interdisciplinary learning, Day Two is designed to help physicians deepen their expertise, refine clinical skills, and gain new perspectives that support high-quality, patient-centered care.

Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from leading experts, connect with colleagues, and stay current on the most pressing topics in cancer and modern medicine!

The conference will apply for AOA Category 1-A credits.  Once approved, information will be shared here.  We anticipate offering up to 24 AOA Category 1-A credits (pending) with 14 of those during our live CME event and the remaining 10 after the conference, as online learning courses.
