8/16/22 - Membership Meeting to Amend the Bylaws scheduled for September 19 at 7pm CT.  The Minnesota Osteopathic Medical Society (MOMS) Board of Trustees would like to propose minor changes to the MOMS Bylaws, which require Membership approval of the majority present at the meeting. Click here to view the proposed Bylaws amendments noted in red font.  Notice was mailed to members last week. Members can call or email the MOMS office to obtain the Zoom connection details to join the meeting.

Summary of Bylaws Changes:
- Technical and clean-up language
- Correction of AOA/COCA accreditation names
- Members include Osteopathic Physicians (DOs) and Osteopathic Medical Students
- Associate Members (non-voting) includes MDs
- Student Affiliate Members (non-voting) includes pre-med students
- Fiscal Year change to January-December
- Addresses Vacancy of President or President-Elect
- Updates gender language
